Zion National Park

Zion National Park is majestic in scale. The cliffs around you are hundreds of feet high. The lower rocks are a deep red hue and the highest ones are a layer of chalky white. Many splendid sites can be reached with moderate hiking.

Magnificaent vistas are all around. Table Mountain is the highest spot in the Park->
The canyon walls are hundreds of feet high. On top are full-size trees.
We enjoyed hiking along the Virgin River whose headwater is in Zion Canyon.
These near-vertical cliffs had climbers ascending them..
Sunlight through late spring leaves is a treat.
At Emerald Pools a squirrel swiped some banana when we weren't looking.
Our inflatable ferrets enjoyed every bit of Zion.
Some of us went for a dip in the Virgin River.
Watchman Overlook is a good place to watch red cliffs change at sunset.
