Vermillion Cliffs at Sunset


We left the North Rim of the Grand Canyon at a leisurely pace. The scenery in the side canyons is splendid its own right. We came out of a forest and onto a large slope that took several miles to drop to the next basin. Across the widening basin standing a few hundred feet high, washed in sunset color are the Vermillion Cliffs.
